This is a height chart made with American walnut and the “Wacky Woodies” made in various types of wood: ash, beech, yew, cherry, walnut, oak, iroko, sapele, elm, spalted beech, bog oak, maple, sycamore, teak, olive ash, lacewood (London plane), good old pine, and so on.

These little animals are made from all the offcuts that I kept through time and finally found a way to use them. It would be virtually impossible for me to make two of the same, so if you see one you like, you better get it when you can…

As the Wacky Woodies are made entirely from my workshop off-cuts and other precious woods (at least for me) that I found along the way, I gave myself the liberty of using all sorts, including (hu)man-made boards like chipboard, plywood, marine plywood, MDF and moisture proof MDF, creating some fantastic looking contrasts and textures. Have a look at the results here and also on the BitBot Desk. It would be virtually impossible for me to make two of the same, so if you see one you like, you better get it when you can…

You can have the height chart made in different woods, just ask and I’m positive I’ll make it happen. If you rather have the height markings in inches rather than centimetres, that’s not a problem! Let me know before I start making it, as these are inlayed into the wood.

I’m extremely impressed together with your writing abilities and also with the structure in your weblog.
Is this a paid theme or did you modify it your self?
Either way keep up the excellent high quality writing, it’s rare to look a great weblog like this one today.

Thank you very much! I’m glad you like it. I designed it myself, as I was learning how to use it. Cheers!
        Diego.
