The Broad Reader, made in European oak with walnut drawer sides and details.

This bookcase was made to fit my personal collection of design, furniture and art books (plus other favourites).

Hand-cut dovetail joints in the three drawers and handmade square holes to fit the walnut square dowels. It works nicely giving a contrasting feature of the round drawer handles.

A handmade door handle, also in walnut, opens a spacious compartment with a shelf.

Will fit tall books, tiny books and fatties. About 140 of them.
